Obtain Your CFRE in 2008

Perhaps you've been thinking about it for awhile, but need that extra little push to start the CFRE process.  Take the plunge in 2008!  The Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation provides you with a way to demonstrate your achievements, integrity and mastery of philanthropic fundraising to your employer, colleagues, donors and the community at large.  Right now, the timing couldn't be better because there is a CFRE Review Course taking place in San Diego March 29 and 30.  The review course is a great way to prepare for the CFRE exam.

To earn your CFRE in 2008, take the following steps:

• Apply for the CFRE Examination, through CFRE International at www.CFRE.org
  
  
• The 2008 CFRE Exam schedule can be found here.
  
  
• For more information regarding applying for the CFRE examination, contact CFRE International at www.CFRE.org , or call Morgean Hirt, Executive Director or Peter Atherton, Certification Manager at 703.820.5555.
  
  
• Apply in accordance with the "2008 CFRE Exam Schedule and Application Deadlines" for North America. All exams will be delivered via computer-based testing. No paper and pencil exams will be offered. For more information, please visit www.CFRE.org .
   
• Enroll for the online CFRE Review Course at www.afpnet.org . You can take the course online or you can identify an AFP Chapter that is hosting the course in 2008.  Call De’Shon Wellington at AFP IHQ at 800-666-FUND for information.
