Please join the San Diego Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals as we plan to celebrate this year’s National Philanthropy Day on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. National Philanthropy Day® (NPD) is a special day set aside each year to show appreciation for all that has been accomplished in the Culture of Philanthropy. It’s an opportunity to recognize the great contributions – and those people and organizations making the difference – which makes San Diego a great community.

Please consider nominating a volunteer, philanthropist, organization or group that you have seen do outstanding work. By recognizing the leaders in our community, they serve as role models, inspiration and encouragement to all of us during these challenging times.

We've streamlined the nominations by making it a one step process and we are receiving all nominations online. We have also clarified the nomination criteria in each category to help in the overall nominating and selection process.

Nominations Closed At 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010.

The contact person at your organization will be notified of this year’s honorees as soon as our Honorary Committee completes its process. Your invitation will be mailed in mid-September however you can register online beginning Monday, May 3.
