Lecture/overview of the concept of “moves management” and major gifts best practices and how a donor database system can be a tool to support the moves process. Demonstration Studio The software demonstration studio is a series of informal small group circles staffed by invited software representatives: software company employees, independent consultants or nonprofit development staff who will provide on-going demonstrations and engage in informal conversations. The demonstration studio is a value-added benefit to those attending the luncheon programs that were unable to attend the morning workshop. Location: lobby outside ballroom near registration table with name badges. Software Demonstration Studio / User Group Networking Following the luncheon presentations, attendees are invited to continue discussions with software demonstrators. A few demonstrators will be organizing user groups. A schedule of meetings and locations will be shared at the luncheon prior to dismissal.
