Congratulations to the
2008 National Philanthropy Day Honorees

The National Philanthropy Day Honorary Committee led by Barbara Brown, Honorary Chair, has completed their deliberation process and chosen our 2008 honorees.  Local philanthropists, volunteers and organizations whose year-round efforts help sustain many critical programs and services offered throughout San Diego will be recognized in eight categories.  Their outstanding contributions to our community will be highlighted at the 2008 National Philanthropy Day awards luncheon held on November 12, 2008 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina.

The individuals and organizations to be honored at this year’s National Philanthropy Day celebration were nominated for this special recognition by local nonprofit organizations. Their many gifts of time, talent and treasure help support programs and services in the arts, healthcare and social services for people of all ages.
