Four Tried and True Keys to
Fundraising Success

keys to enhancing fundraising success. When these keys are addressed
fundraising efforts are focused, appropriate prospects are targeted,
compelling messages are communicated and donors are assured of their
gifts' impact. Find out how to prepare your organization for raising
money, acquaint yourself with the specific tools needed and increase
your fundraising success!

Carole Rylander, CFRE, is principal of
Rylander Associates, a professional consulting firm serving
not-for-profit organizations since 1998 in funds
development, planning and governance. In all, she has worked
in the nonprofit sector for more than 23 years.
The Dallas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising
Professionals named Carole the 2006 Outstanding Fundraising
Executive. She is a past president of the Chapter and has
held accreditation as a Certified Fund Raising Executive
(CFRE) since 1990.

Currently Carole serves as Chair of
the Association of Philanthropic Counsel, Inc., a national
association of consulting firms, and as a volunteer faculty member
at the Center for Nonprofit Management in Dallas. Carole is a member
of the International Association of Facilitators and is a Qualified
Trainer with the Institute of Cultural Affairs.
Learning Objectives:

- Understand fundraising essentials and critical
concepts
- Understand key components in "getting ready" to raise
funds: strategic planning, marketing, the case statement &
performance measurement
- Learn how to create a constituency map
- Explore how to eliminate jargon from messages and
materials
- Understand the five steps to marketing
- Learn how to structure a case statement
- Learn how to create and capture appropriate outcome
measures
Participation in a live session or use of an audio
recording of the program qualifies for 1.5 points toward CFRE
education requirements.
