Craig P. Dunn
Speaker Biography:
Craig P. Dunn is an Associate Professor at SDSU
specializing in business and society issues. His research interests
include the meaning of work, corporate social responsibility,
corporate governance, managerial ethics and values, and community
economic development. He is active in both the International
Association for Business and Society (IABS), serving as Past
President, as well as the Social Issues in Management Division of
the Academy of Management (AofM). Additionally, Craig is Executive
Director for the Corporate Governance Institute, a venture of the
SDSU CBA founded in collaboration with the Corporate Directors Forum
(CDF), and former Ethics Trainer for the City of San Diego Ethics
Commission.
Craig serves as guest editor for an influential
special issue of Business Horizons, July-August, 1991. His articles
have also appeared in Business Ethics Quarterly, Journal of
Management Inquiry, Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal,
Journal of International Management, Selected Readings for CPAs in
Industry, Dictionary of Business Ethics, and Mapping Strategic
Thought.
He was awarded the 1989-90 Schuyler F. Otteson
Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award from Indiana University, as
well as the 1992 Department of Management Outstanding Faculty Award
at SDSU. He also serves as faculty advisor for Net Impact at SDSU.
He has recently served on the Board of Directors of Mission Federal
Credit Union and the Greater Golden Hill Community Development
Corporation in San Diego, California, as well as on the Board of the
Corporate Governance Institute, the Green Restaurant Association,
and the Ethics Advisory Panel for the Institute for Local
Government, the research arm of the League of California Cities.
Professor Dunn has also taught at Western Washington University,
Rice University, Indiana University, and California State
University, Bakersfield. |
