In Memory of Richard L. Heinrich, CFRE

This tenth annual luncheon program and workshop honors the memory of Richard L. Heinrich, CFP, CFRE, who passed away in 1996. He began his career in San Diego at Scripps Memorial Hospital Foundation working with Bob Weber to create the pre-imminent planned giving program in San Diego and a nationally recognized planned giving program in the health care field.

One of his primary contributions to the San Diego Chapter of NSFRE, now the Association for Fundraising Professionals, came from his focus on using a variety of planned giving vehicles to raise major gifts. He was known throughout the profession for his commitment to education and high standards for fundraising professionals in our community. Rich believed that through professional memberships in AFP, PGRT, NCPG, AHP, every fundraiser could find great benefit from the collective wisdom, experience and resources shared by all members.
